3rd Best Page in the Universe

This is my blog. It is my opinion, if you disagree, too bad.

So I have decided that income taxes suck. They totally reduce my spending power as a consumer because they force me into a more constrained budget. So I think that federal income taxes should be replaced with a federal sales tax.

This is good for two reasons. The first reason is that it puts the amount of taxes ceded to the government in the hands of the citizen, not the government. The second reason is that because there won't be as much money coming into the government it will encourage better spending practices. Too bad that this will never happen because people like their pork spending projects. And both major political parties are guilty of this.

And yeah, it is July 3rd. One day before July 4th. I may have been going somewhere with this post, but instead nothing is coming from that. Happy July 4th, enjoy the fireworks.
